Advent Dinner and Retreat for Church Professionals

Church professionals and their families are invited to the annual Advent Dinner at John Knox Center on Friday, Dec. 8. Hors d'euvres will be served at 6:00 p.m. with dinner following at 7:00 p.m. The cost is $12.50 per person.

Those attending the dinner, including families, may elect to stay for the Advent Retreat sponsored by the Presbytery of East Tennessee Support Team. Clergy women to meet for lunch Dec. 13

The next gathering of clergy women is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 13, at the House in the Woods at Maryville College. Childcare is available with advance notice. Bring a bag lunch or order ahead by contacting Anne McKee: ann.mckee@maryvillecollege.edu.

Christmas Luncheon Dec. 11 for Retired Ministers and Spouses

A Christmas luncheon for retired ministers and spouses will be held Monday, Dec. 11, at noon at Second Presbyterian Church, Knoxville. LeAnne Johnson of New Providence Presbyterian, high school choral music teacher at Webb School, will provide a music program. Anyone who wants to connect with the retired clergy families is invited.
