Educational Ministry Conference

The annual conference of the Association of Presbyterian Church Educators is set for January 29-February 3, 2007 in Philadelphia. The theme is "Sankofa! Flying Forward, Reaching Back." Choose from 115 workshops, attend regional gatherings, or visit the Spirituality Center or Market Place. This is a great opportunity for educators to learn, grow, and enjoy a little get-away all at the same time. The Support Team has scholarships available for this conference. Sabbath Leave Program at Samford University

Samford University's Resource Center for Pastoral Excellence, located in Birmingham, offers up to $10,000 to pastoral leaders for "emotional, spiritual, physical, and intellectual renewal in an academic environment." The program is open to both ordained and lay ministers serving full-time or part-time. Study leaves from 2 weeks to 4 months are available; participants must spend half of the time at the Center.
